This is the picture of Dal Lake located in Mcleodganj, Himachal Pradesh. Mcleodganj is one of the most favorite weekend getaway for North Indians. I took this picture in July 2021. While this lake was almost abandoned and not well taken care of by authorities for many years, to my pleasant surprise this time I saw it fully rejuvenated. This is a very peaceful place where you can spend hours looking at the lake, dense greenery of pine trees around, and wondering in your thoughts.
