This a picture of the helicopter I currently work with in Iqaluit, Nunavut. I have spent the better part of the last 13 years working in the far north covering the region as far west as Inuvik to as far east as Baffin Island. With the northern lights in the background, it is a fitting picture to capture the uniqueness of the North and, to be honest, how I take my experiences up here for granted. I have experienced polar bears, fresh char and Inuit community feasts, as well as flown over some of the most remote areas of the planet. I have other tales to tell, but those will have to wait for future courses 🙂
