The Rideau Canal and Mooney’s bay brings back great childhood memories. The area can be enjoyed in the summer and the winter equally. Going to Winterlude with my parents as a child was the highlight of the winter season; Admiring the snow sculpture and spending hours skating the Rideau Canal. Being at one with nature and at the same time enjoying the crowds and people watching.
