Shuswap Lake is located in the middle of British Columbia, Canada about 5 hours east of Vancouver. It is surrounded by mountains and forests, and is a popular tourist destination in the summer for swimming, boating, and houseboating. I was fortunate to grow up here until I moved away for University and will have significant meaning to me for a long time.
